Beaverdale Fall Festival

This is the big one, neighbors. The annual Beaverdale Fall Festival kicks off Friday evening and runs all day Saturday, with the parade stepping off at 10 a.m. Saturday at Beaver and Euclid, rolling a full mile south down Beaver Ave.

Across the two days you'll find four stages of live music, a carnival for the kids, a local vendor market, and more than a dozen food trucks — plenty to keep the whole family busy for an afternoon or an evening. It's one of the most genuinely neighborhood-feeling events Des Moines puts on all year.
